Forgiveness

Psalms 32:1-2 Oh, what joy for those whose rebellion is forgiven,

      whose sin is put out of sight!

    Yes, what joy for those

      whose record the LORD has cleared of sin,

      whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

 

I John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.

 

Luke 17:3-4 I am warning you! If another believer sins, rebuke him; then if he repents, forgive him. 4Even if he wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, forgive him.”

 

Matthew 6:14-15  If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 15But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

 

Ephesians 4:31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior. 32Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you

 

 

Mark 11:25-26 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”

 

Isaiah 43:25 “I—yes, I alone—am the one who blots out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.  (God speaking to us)

 

Colossians 3:13 You must make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
