God, Our Healer
Psalm 103:1-3
1 My whole being, praise the Lord.
All
my being, praise his holy name.
2 My whole being,
praise the Lord.
Do
not forget all his kindnesses.
3 The Lord
forgives me for all my sins.
He
heals all my diseases.
Psalm
107:19-20
19 In their
misery they cried out to the Lord.
And
he saved them from their troubles.
20 God gave the
command and healed them.
So
they were saved from dying.
Matthew 9:35
35Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages. He
taught in their synagogues and told people the Good News about the kingdom. And
he healed all kinds of diseases and sicknesses.
Matthew 10:1
1Jesus called his 12 followers together. He gave them power to drive out
evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and sickness.
Mark 16:17-18
17And those who believe will be able to do these things as
proof: They will use my name to force demons out of people. They will speak in
languages they never learned. 18They will pick up snakes without
being hurt. And they will drink poison without being hurt. They will touch the
sick, and the sick will be healed.”
Hebrews 13:18 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today,
and forever.
James 5:14-16
14If one of you is sick, he should call the church’s elders.
The elders should pour oil on him in the name of the Lord and pray for him. 15And
the prayer that is said with faith will make the sick person well. The Lord
will heal him. And if he has sinned, God will forgive him. 16Confess
your sins to each other and pray for each other. Do this so that God can heal
you. When a good man prays, great things happen.
I Peter 2:24
24Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did
this so that we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right.
And we are healed because of his wounds.
